Music Therapy

What is Music Therapy?
Everyone can respond to music, and music therapy uses this connection to support emotional wellbeing and communication. Sessions may include improvisation, listening to music, or creating songs and playlists together.
Music therapy can help build resilience, self-confidence, independence, self-awareness, concentration, and communication skills.
If you think music therapy might be helpful for you, please speak to a member of hospice staff, who can refer you to the service.
If you have any questions, please contact the Family Support Team on 0141 429 5599, or contact Calum Frame directly at calum.frame@ppwh.org.uk or 0141 429 9823.
