Dedicate a leaf on the In Memory Tree
Our In Memory Tree takes pride of place on the ground floor of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, beside Reception and next to the Sanctuary. Overlooking our beautiful hospice gardens, it provides a peaceful place for reflection and remembrance.
Dedicating an engraved leaf in memory of someone special is a lasting way to celebrate their life while supporting compassionate hospice care for local patients and families. As our tree continues to grow, it stands as a moving tribute to those who are loved and remembered every day.
Your dedication also helps raise vital funds, ensuring more families can receive expert care, comfort and support when they need it most.
How to dedicate a leaf
You can dedicate an engraved leaf with a minimum monthly donation of £10. Alternatively, you can make a one-off annual donation of £120 or raise this amount through fundraising.
Your engraved leaf will be displayed on our In Memory Tree for two years. Before your dedication ends, we will contact you to discuss the next steps. Subject to space being available, you can renew your dedication for a further two years. Alternatively, you may choose to have your leaf placed in our memorial book or returned to your family as a keepsake.

What happens next?
Once we receive your dedication, our Fundraising Team will contact you to discuss your preferred location on the tree, where possible, and confirm when your engraved leaf will be ready to view.
Leaves are usually installed within four weeks. If you would like your dedication displayed for a particular date, such as a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
You are welcome to visit the hospice and spend time with your leaf whenever you wish.
Your Tribute Fund
Every In Memory Tree dedication is linked to an offline Tribute Fund, allowing us to record gifts made in memory of your loved one.
