The Hospice Commonwealth Games Challenge 2026
A venue of your choice
Let the Games Begin!
Celebrate the spirit of the Commonwealth Games and help make a real difference for hospice care.
We are inviting schools, community groups and businesses to take part in a fundraising challenge inspired by the Commonwealth Games. You choose what to do, when to do it and how to do it. We will support you with guidance and encouragement, but you stay in control.
Every activity, big or small, helps support patients and families cared for by The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.
What can you do?
Take on a challenge
Get active or get creative with a challenge that suits your group. This could include walking, running, swimming, dance sessions, craft projects or sponsored creative tasks. Keep it inclusive and make it work for all ages and abilities.
Represent your nation
Choose a Commonwealth country to represent. Bring it to life through colours, flags, music, food or cultural activities. This works brilliantly for classrooms, team days and community events.
Host a quiz night
Run a Commonwealth-themed quiz in a school hall, workplace or community space. Charge a small entry fee or ask teams to fundraise, and enjoy some friendly competition.
Why take part?
Every challenge completed and every quiz answered raises vital funds for hospice care. Your support helps us continue providing compassionate care and support to patients and families when they need it most.
You also give your group a shared goal, a sense of achievement and a meaningful way to connect with the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow.
