At the hospice, we are honoured to have volunteers dedicate their time to support the Young Adult Service.

Below is Nicola's experience of volunteering within the Young Adult Service.

I started volunteering at the hospice while studying at college. I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering in the hospice within the Living Well HUB & Inpatient Unit.

I now volunteer within the Young Adults Service and have found it to be extremely enjoyable. It's amazing to see the difference that complementary therapies make to the young adults. For me, that's the biggest reward. I love working alongside a great team of supportive, friendly staff and volunteers.

I would thoroughly recommend volunteering for the hospice. It's really rewarding knowing that you're improving the lives of people with a life-limiting condition.'
