The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice provides compassionate care for patients with a progressive, life-limiting illness and support for those who care for them.
As a registered charity we raise funds to provide this care free of charge.
We are here to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. We believe that where it may not be possible to add days to life, we can add life to days.
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice depends on your generosity to find the £3.1million needed annually to fund our work.
We rely on the generosity and support of private individuals, companies and other organisations to help us do this.
That is why we want to be completely transparent about why we request your personal details when you support us and how we will use them.
We commit to treating all our supporters with respect, honesty and openness.
We will promptly be acknowledging donations using your preferred method of communication.
We will manage your personal details confidentially and will not share these with other organisations.
We take stewardship of your donation seriously.
We keep our administration costs to an absolute minimum.
We maximise tax efficiency through the Gift Aid scheme.
We seek funding from a variety of sources including official bodies and matched giving schemes.
We provide clear and transparent accounting.
We will provide information about The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice’s work, including updates on our work in innovating palliative care.
We report on our plans to build a new purpose-built hospice at Bellahouston Park.
Information on our palliative care education programme and the resources available for use in schools and community groups.
