Make a Will for Good

Introducing our new free Will service

Having an up-to-date Will is the only way to make sure the people and causes you care about are looked after when you’re gone. That’s why the hospice has partnered with Bequeathed to help our supporters to make a Will that fully meets their needs, in the way that suits them best, completely FREE of charge.

With Will For Good from Bequeathed, every user receives a will they can rely on, from an accredited legal professional.

Anyone can make their Will For Good, for free, the process is simple:

  1. Go www.bequeathed.org/ppwh  to use our dedicated Bequeathed online Will interview, to create a draft Will in around 25 minutes. There’s online help at hand if you need it. The Bequeathed system creates your Will from the answers you give, and it is transferred to one of their partner legal firms.

  2. Attend an appointment of up to 30 minutes by telephone, video call, at home or in-office with the legal firm to review and discuss your situation and your wishes and confirm that the Will meets your needs. If you don’t have Zoom or an email address, the hospice can book an appointment on your behalf.

  3. You will then receive your free Will For Good in the post, you sign it in front of witnesses and return it to the legal firm. They will check it has been executed correctly and securely store it for you at no cost. The platform is extremely user friendly and offers additional support for the visually impaired, dyslexia and other learning difficulties.

If you have complex family circumstances, multiple properties, business assets or foreign property, you will need to pay for additional advice. Where that is the case, the firm will provide you with a quote. It’s up to you whether to accept.

Bequeathed have friendly experts on hand 8am – 8pm to help you if you have any questions.

The offer is open to staff and volunteers, as well as to all of our supporters. We pay an annual fee, with no additional cost per Will written. There is no obligation to leave a gift in a Will to the hospice, but if you are thinking of leaving the hospice a gift in your Will, thank you.

Give yourself peace of mind, and get started on your Will today. It’s quick, efficient and free.
