Why should I consider leaving a gift to The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice?
Legacies (gifts that donors leave in their will) allow The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice to ensure that people at the end of their life get the complete care they need, either here at the hospice or in their own homes. It enables us to make every moment count for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families. Today, tomorrow and for years to come.
Legacies are incredibly important for the hospice. Over the years, the gifts that people have generously left to us have helped us recruit more nurses, equip our inpatient unit, provide beds, extend our services and train staff to offer the best possible care when people need it the most.
Did you know that over two thirds of our funding comes from voluntary donations, including gifts in Wills? Without these donations, we wouldn’t be able to provide care at home, at our in-patient unit, or our bereavement or day services
What is a gift in your Will?
A legacy (or gift in your Will) enables you to state that, after you die, a particular part of your estate be given to a person, charity or organisation. It could be a fixed sum of money, a named item such as a piece of jewellery, furniture, property or shares or it could be the remainder of your estate once you have ensured that your family and friends will be looked after.
You can make a difference and ensure your legacy of kindness and generosity lives on.
We assure you that:
