Glen graduated from Glasgow University in 1978 as Bachelor of Dental Surgery and practised in Glasgow until 2015, latterly with a special interest in implantology.
He has been involved in the Befriending Scheme, aiding young adults in their re-integration into society after discharge from psychiatric care. Glen has also assisted in fundraising for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
In recent years he has helped with the organisation of fundraising events for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice and is very proud to have been invited to become an ambassador on their behalf. He will endeavour to use all his contacts and powers of persuasion to raise support for the hospice in its future projects.
Glen has been married to Sandra, the best-looking gran in Bearsden, for 37 years, has two great kids and two wonderful grandchildren.
Retired now, he still deludes himself he can get his golf handicap down to single figures.
