The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice provides free person-centred and family-focused palliative care and support to the people of Glasgow and greater Glasgow.
Our specialist staff and wonderful volunteers are trained to work with patients and families who are living with significant challenges to their health and wellbeing.
In day care and on the wards, we look after more than 1200 patients and families every year.
Our palliative care provides support for the physical and emotional problems relating to a life-limiting illness for patients and those close to them.
This is often at home, but could also be at an outpatient clinic, day unit, or as an inpatient.
The hospice receives £1.9million in funding annually from the NHS and depends on the generosity of supporters and the community to raise the supplementary £3.1million in voluntary donations.
The money we need to raise each year is so we can maintain our invaluable services for the people of Glasgow.
