The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults.
We serve the communities of Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire.
Our hospice has 14 inpatient beds and a 20-place daycare centre.
Our community team of doctors, nurses, therapists, counsellors, chaplains, social workers and volunteers, support patients in their homes, at other places of care, and in the hospice.
The hospice helps to improve the quality of life for patients by enhancing their physical, emotional, social and spiritual care.
We provide support, information and advice to carers, families and friends after illness diagnosis.
We make recommendations on pain and symptom management, and provide support to staff caring for patients, their carers, families and friends.
The Prince & Princess of Wales education service aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of health and social care professionals involved with palliative patient care.
We participate in research and development to improve our knowledge and that of the wider community.
If you are a health or social care professional and would like to know more about hospice palliative care, please contact The Prince & Princess of Wales healthcare support team who are available 24 hours a day for medical and nursing advice.
