The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity located adjacent to the River Clyde in Glasgow city centre. The hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life-limiting, progressive illness, and support for their families and carers. The hospice is currently in the final stages of a major development and will be moving to a new purpose-built home in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, Autumn 2018.
We are recruiting a self-motivated, energetic individual to join our small but busy communications team. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience you will possess excellent written and oral skills, as accuracy is essential part of this role. Experience of working within a similar role you should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, along with the ability to time manage your own workload effectively.
The purpose of the communication department, is to support the development and delivery of the aims and objectives of the Hospice through effective and innovative PR and digital marketing activities.
As part of the role you will be responsible for the promotion and consistent application of the Hospice brand through all areas of service. You will raise the profile of the hospice through both traditional and digital marketing, PR activities and social media, as well as maximising the potential promotion of services through all activities to enhance the success of fundraising initiatives.
