Hospice goes virtual to support patients during COVID-19 crisis

The clinical team at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice has gone virtual in order to provide care and support to some of its patients.

While the inpatient unit is still fully operational caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses and those at the end of their lives, community and day services patients have not been able to visit the hospice throughout the lockdown period.

Gorbals shop to launch with a high-end twist

The new Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice shop in the Gorbals is planning on marking its official opening on Saturday 21 March with a designer extravaganza.

Since issuing the call in February for people to donate their pre-loved designer and high-end clothes, shoes, bags and ornaments, more than 250 items have been handed in.
